CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT PARTS MANAGER

Grasslands Group is seeking to find an experienced Construction Equipment (CE) Parts Manager on behalf of their client. They are opening their ?newest? location in the Calgary area. Our client is a large multi ? location commercial equipment and agricultural sales, aftermarket service, and parts provider in southern Alberta. Their trained sales representatives, parts people, and technicians are dedicated to bringing their customers the best purchasing/service experience they?ve ever had. QUALIFICATIONS:
The right candidate should be:
· An experienced parts manager (Construction/Heavy Equipment preferred) with agricultural related parts experience an asset.
· A self-motivated, customer-service and sales oriented individual with proven customer care qualities is sought.
· Knowledgeable and capable of identifying company products and their functions
· Familiar with inventory practices
· Demonstrate effort in monitoring and maintaining accurate records,
· Versed in methods of communication and procedures for procuring, follow-up, and supply of components to customers, service departments, and internal departments

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establishing a new parts department?s inventory; including the ordering of parts and the set-up of the department
· Maintaining inventory control of CE and AG parts while maximizing profitability.
· Utilizing departmental reports to generate positive outcomes
· Active participation in aftermarket advertising and marketing programs
· Establish and maintain procedures to coordinate the flow of parts between service departments, branches, and sales staff
· Ensure every customer request is handled promptly and accurately.
· Ensure department personnel maintain a good working knowledge of competitive equipment
· Regularly train, supervise, and evaluate parts personnel performance.

COMPENSATION
- Full benefit plan available
- Annual Base salary of $45,000 to $55,000 plus incentives and/or commission based on total parts department profit.
- Total annual aggregate income range could be $48,000 to $65,000+.
